Brixton pop-up Kricket gets its first bricks and mortar site in Soho

July 7, 2017

Brand new hot looking Indian food restaurant Kricket has landed on Denman Street, Soho, after it’s dazzling success in a shipping container in Brixton. Combining British ingredients with the authentic flavours, the clue is in its name – link England to the Indian continent with a knowing title. Its quirky interior with exposed brick, copper and dimmed lighting creates a perfect atmosphere to relax on a Friday night in style. Small plates are the thing here, and you’ll need seven or so for two if you’re hungry. The absolute winner, is the lamb chops –  an Indian street-food staple, served with wild garlic chutney and black stone flower. Cocktails are delish and more spicy than sweet – Dark Matter with spiced rum, mango, agave is the perfect counterpoint to the heat of the food.
