Lunson Mitchenall had the pleasure of visiting the long awaited Arcade Food Theatre at the pre-opening event. This is the latest food hall concept to open in London.

Having been hailed as one of the ‘Hottest New Dining Locations’, The Arcade Food Theatre certainly lived up to expectations, taking the food hall concept to the next level. Bringing some of London’s best restaurants together in one location, with a tenant mix of London centric and home brands such as Flat Iron, Chotto Matte and Lina Stores.
With so much great choice it was hard to pick something, but there was one dish that is an absolute must – Casita Do Frango half chicken. This fuss free, simple dish brings all the right flavours brushed with your choice of piri piri, oregano or lemon and garlic sauce.
Setting itself apart from its competitors, it designs takes on more of a conventional restaurant, with a balance of bar and counter seating.
With such a great choice of restaurants throughout London it is hard to comprehend how you can come up with something new or innovative, however what sets this apart from the rest of the market is that this strikes the perfect balance between some of the Capital’s most high-end names with complete consumer convenience. It is not just the tasteful food and drink offer and the convenience that makes this destination so attractive, but the fixtures, fittings, décor and light installations that also make it come alive.
It embodies its name and is all about the theatre of food — enticing all of your senses through the sights, the sounds, the feel and the taste. Located in the newly redeveloped Centre Point at Tottenham Court Road, this prominent new destination is definitely one to check out. It will no doubt attract a large customer base.
