Food for thought as Parisian cuisine arrives in Basingstoke

September 11, 2018

Paris-inspired brasserie restaurant Cote is taking 3,375 sq ft of space in AEW Europe’s Festival Place in Basingstoke.

The team at Lunson Mitchenall has secured the relaxed all-day dining restaurant for an external unit fronting onto Festival Square, opposite GBK and Wagamama and joining an array of other popular mouth-watering eateries including Nando’s, Pizza Express, Coal, Giraffe, ASK and Las Iguanas.

Anchored by a 10 screen Vue cinema, the 1.1m sq ft shopping centre is situated in the centre of Basingstoke, with an excess of 22.4 million annual footfall.

George Oppenheim, Lunson Mitchenall commented: “We are very excited to be welcoming Cote to Festival Place, having been a long-term target for the scheme. Cote will bring a real point of difference to the already very successful restaurant mix within Festival Square, and we look forward to seeing them open in the Spring”
