Australian stationary brand Smiggle and American fast food restaurant chain KFC have opened at Friars Walk, Newport ahead of Christmas to join the line-up of brands including JD Sports, Debenhams and Pandora.
Smiggle has taken 900 sq ft in one of the last remaining prime units in the centre on a 10-year lease, and KFC has taken 2,100 sq ft in the only remaining catering unit on the ground floor surrounding the 8-screen Cineworld multiplex, on a 20-year lease.
Local operator Hi Coffee also joined these international names in 200 sq ft of space in the bus station concourse in a brand new Express format unit.

The deals are part of Lunson Mitchenall’s continued work at the Newport scheme.
