Where we’ll be eating in Liverpool

September 18, 2017

With this year’s REVO taking us to the city of Liverpool, and with so much to tickle your taste buds in this Northern gem of a city, it’s hard to know where to start. Never fear as here are our top three picks of the very best restaurants…

Maray: This Bold Street venue serves an exciting, eclectic food menu centred around sharing plates, with the kitchen team draw inspiration from various parts of the globe. Seasonality and the celebration of local produce is paramount and what ties the dishes together is the kitchen team’s approach to presentation and balance.

The Art School: This location is perfect for special occasions. Chef Paul Askew is a North West Food Champion and is recognised as one of the best in the region. The menu consists of broadly modern British, underpinned by rigorous classical technique, with all the food on the menu sourced locally with seasonal ingredients.

Fonseca’s: If you’re looking for something more informal and cheap to grab lunch at the conference then this restaurant is great with only a 20 minute walk from the conference. It offers a daily blackboard menu of terrific, globetrotting dishes, where new dishes come and go through the week depending on what’s in season or been piquing the chef’s imaginations.
