Lunson Mitchenall has secured the stylish all day restaurant and cocktail bar, Grind & Co, to come to Canary Wharf’s new district, Wood Wharf.

Set to open in January 2021, it will take approximately 4,000 sq ft over two levels. Having already established various up-market locations across London, such as Soho, Shoreditch and Royal Exchange, Grind & Co will complement the offer at the Canary Wharf Estate.

This follows the news that Radio Alice, the Bologna based pizzeria, has opened its artisan restaurant within Jubilee Place, Canary Wharf.  The Pizzeria was founded by brothers Matteo and Salvatore, named Berbere Pizzeria in 2010 Bologna, and expanded organically to six sites in Italy before venturing into the UK under a partnership with Azzurri Group. In what was formerly occupied by GBK, the restaurant sits adjacent to the likes of Five Guys, Nandos and Wagamama.

Ruvan Sangra, Lunson Mitchenall commented: “It is great to be welcoming Grind & Co and Radio Alice to Canary Wharf. Canary Wharf bars and restaurants are a key component to the success of the area, with our main aim to continue appealing to the surrounding catchment, drawing people to Canary Wharf from dawn till dusk, seven days a week. We believe these fashionable and exciting additions will add further energy to the already very successful restaurant choice.”
